United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged HSE Stornoway Grey
P0018-00 (AE) Crankshaft position - camshaft position correl

I’m getting the above codes I’m getting mixed suggestions for oil change
1 garage is suggesting flush then new oil and another garage doesn’t recommend flushing the engine as it’s done 110,000 miles and could block small oil ways if any large sludge particles
Recommendations would be greatly received
The engine is 5.0 s/c
Thanks in advance

Tensioners been replaced? If not, this can be a telltale sign they’re dying. 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory

No they’ve not been replaced but been advised to change oil first before paying for the cam chain to be replaced as no rattles from the engine but the bit I’m unsure of is to have the engine flushed or not
