Hi if there are no leaks now and the coolant level looks fine the level float in the expansion tank is saturated and sinks to the bottom. You need to change expansion tank. |

I have disconnected the battery for 30 mins and on reconnecting the warning light is still on I have two cheap plug in hand held machines and both say no codes to clear. |

Did they replace the sensor or the whole float unit? If the float sticks down, the sensor can't give any reading other than low. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Hi I have spoken to the with the guy doing the job for me and he confirmed there is no float in the tank only the push in sensor that he has replaced with a genuine part see picture of the sensor. |

Well it must be stuck on the bottom but there is deffo a float that moves up and down with the level as said they become saturated and sink to bottom. The tank itself cones with a sensor when you buy new one .The tank itself is easy to replace. |
