And damn good off-road as well!

I do have a Full Fat itch that needs scratching. Whilst a L322 would be a relatively cheap buy and the one to go for if planning on plenty of off-road excursions, the L405 is a lovely place to crush big miles in.

Edit: watched the video - impressive work there by a stock L322. The description says it has open diffs and relies on Terrain Response, but the L322 has a locking centre diff, either torsen (originally) or the same multiplate system used in the L320 RRS and L319 Disco. Yes, Terrain Response activates the locking action but it isn't an "open diff".

Also, noted in the comments that our very own Hugh has watched and commented on the video. Laughing 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

If buying second hand, I'd want evidence that it had been well looked after - a few stamps in a book aren't evidence, really. A folder full of receipts is what one wants to see.

You will not see dealer service stamps in my book but you will see my own service stamps - likewise you will not see many receipts as I do most of my own servicing.

To me - dealer service stamps mean nothing.
