Sounds like the cable may be sticking? There is also a 3 or 4mm Allen bolt to align the shoes that most people forget about. Did you use the brake bible? |

i have seen that before on a D3, I'm sure we ground a little of the end where it meets the adjuster so the disc would go on. then you can adjust as normal Joined the X5 45e club
