There are two different one's, thick one for space saver (LR033233) and thin one for full size spare (LR033234) I wouldn't know how much the thickness difference between the two insulators is though, between the actual space saver and full size wheel width would be 80mm. I think from from 2018 on cars the insulators are different again.

Thanks Andy, I thought the purpose of the polystyrene insert was to protect the battery underneath (or so I have read). If I can't "thin" the insert down, I'll remove it and add a bit of polystyrene on top of the battery. 2016 RRS SVR Estoril Blue 2005 4.2L Supercharged Java Black - gone but was my first love. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If we all point our RR's in the same direction and accelerate at the same time can we turn back time? |

The thinner one's for the 2018 on cars is LR 113016, however I wouldn't know what the differences between the two are though, or if it would be any better fit or if it would even at all. Looks to be about £40.00 from L/R if you wanted to give it a shot.

A SVR alloy on a 295/40R22 will definitely fit the spare wheel well too. |

Scrumpy, can I ask where did you order the wheel and insulator insert for the boot. I purchased a 2023 RRS and there was no option at the time of ordering to get a wheel so have compressed with slim, looking to order boot insert, Jack and wheel.
