L494 Glovebox mechanism

Hi,
I’ve just been told my glovebox should not slam down and take your kneecaps out!
After discussion I found out it’s supposed to have a geared mechanism at the back, which is prone to failure. Does anyone know any part numbers for this?

Google FFZ500080 or 90 I think it may be what you are after, confusing which is for R/H/D vehicles though, but FFZ500080 is the one you actualy need according to the last reply's of the post below.
