Is this normal ?

Guys

Just came out an automatic barrier car park and the barrier came down on the roof of me RRS 2010. Now it may be that it hasn’t done any damage but was this gap between roof and spoiler supposed to be there ?

Alan

Definitely a gap on mine, about 10mm albeit a A/B spoiler.

Cheers

Provided it is parallel all the way across I think it looks about right provided it's not a massive gap, there might be a specified measurement in the spoiler removal/fitting section in the body/paint part of the workshop manual.

Cheers

Looks fine to me. Mine has a gap of 15mm - standard rear spoiler.

They used to say Land Rovers had panel gaps that you could see from outer space. Its good for offroading, allows the panels to move without touching.
