Thanks for The "one" reply mate. I'm surprised about that. Surely there must be others who have had this issue ?? I never even heard of "regen" I know a lot more now.

If you do short round town journeys and then went on the motorway that does sound like a clogged dpf.

Ah. another reply. Thanks, Johnny. I have never had any notification come up on the dash. That's what I thought was odd about the smoke. I have bought a bottle of cleaner that you add to a full tank. To hopefully clean the DPF. Yes, I do a lot of pootling where we live in Suffolk. So that's possibly the reason for the smoke last time on the motorway. We are driving up to the highlands tomorrow. That ten-hour journey with the full tank, and cleaner added. That might clear it out a bit
