B&B are a budget brand. Used them a while ago, without issue though |

I remember borg and beck from decades ago as a high end clutch and brake supplier. I have used them on the Rangerover without issue,,, I'm suprised they are not more highly of. 2010 RRS, TDV8

Yeah, that's my recollection as well, although I have to say that it's been quite a while, I'll have a look at the Britpart offerings. |

I think they were the Borg part of Borg Warner auto transmissions as well, which were fitted to a lot of vehicles back in last the century.

The *blue box* (XD) parts are cheap. Some good, some not so good...

Thanks for your help, I am struggling getting what I want, so took your advice re a local indi and dropped in my closest one who has done work on the car in the past. Bad news is the caliper (original in fairness, the N/S/R was replaced a couple of years ago) is knackered, which is what I was thinking about myself. The good news is that he was able to squeeze it in this afternoon so I will have it for work next week. I've no doubt it will be wallet emptying, but I've resigned myself to this with these things.
