2014 5.0 SC Autobiography - What to look for?

Hi,

I am thinking about trading my 2011 fat Range Rover 5.0 SC Autobiography for a superb red November 2014 RRS 5.0 SC Autobiography.

I am going for a test drive in a hew hours.

The car seems in superb condition, it has 107.000 km on the clock, all Range Rover serviced except the last one.

I have been able to hear the idle it is okay (a little bit of tic tic tic, more than on mine which has 145.000 km, but seems okay).

What should I check other than that idle sound ?

Thanks.
Cédric.

South Africa 2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Siberian Silver

besides the usual:

- Run the VIN through Topix to check for build & service history

- Make sure you don't hear any "Ticking" or "Clanking" upon start-up within the first 5 seconds... roll down all the windows before start-up

- Check air suspension by dropping/raising

- Run it over speed bumps and listen for any clunking (lower control arms)/clicking (CV joint) noises

And if you do buy it, replace the water pump & crossover coolant pipes (with aftermarket aluminium ones). Also get the ZF gearbox fluid changed every 80,000-100,000km. --
