Just about to place an order for a new RRS but looking though the dealer T&Cs they are stating that if the part exchange vehicle is not traded in they can cancel the order, apparently it’s the case with all Defender, RRS and RR orders. Given the unknown delivery timescales the issue is I am effectively locked into whatever value they put on the trade in at the time of delivery, if they low ball it effectively the only option could be to walk away. Has anyone else experienced this or similar?

Order the car without a part ex, then add it closer to the time if need be.——————————————
