You can get into the car by flipping off the plastic cover on the n/s door handle and unlock using the key blade. Place the remote under the steering column and try to start as normal, there is a location area in the consol to place the key, If I remember right the fob buttons have to face down.

I'm in. It may not have been the fob. The car is completely dead. Just had a new battery a couple of weeks ago but, this is not like it gone flat. This is completely dead...... B*llocks! Cheers,

This can be caused by the keyless entry system - I had this a few months ago out of the blue. I even changed the key fob battery (I had a spare in the car). No use. Did some online research and found out about the keyless entry system.

appreciate the input. Unfortunately, not this time: the battery is completely drained. Its less than 6 weeks old so I assume something has drained it. Back up and running with the car now in the shop. There's a list of error codes as long as your arm so, can't see the wood for the trees at the moment.

Would that be Jack Russells? I use Glenrands and can highly revcommend them. Hopefully they'll get it sorted for you. 2016 RRS SVR Estoril Blue 2005 4.2L Supercharged Java Black - gone but was my first love. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If we all point our RR's in the same direction and accelerate at the same time can we turn back time? |

Yes indeed, 3 of them. Must have smelt my old Labrador on me and the biscuits normally in my pocket. Lovely dogs.
