anyone else had 'P25A2-00' ABS / check engine fault code ?

Hi all.
Bit of an odd one this, so wondering if others have encountered it, or know the fix.
Sorry for the long post, just explaining everything in one hit Smile

Background:
One of the deployable side steps on our 2015 autobiography is stuck, so i plugged in my obd tool.
Prior to this i had no dash warning lights.
during the scan (ignition on, engine off) the car turned itself off, so i stopped the scan unplugged and replugged the tool so it too started from scratch.
plugged the tool back in and turned ignition on.
I had all sorts of lights on and errors coming up, gearbox fault, no hill descent, etc.
I did a 'quick erase' on the tool to clear all fault codes, but am left with a couple i expected but one I don't (one step related, one to do with the 2nd battery for stop/start)

The real problem:
I have the check engine light on, and the fault code given is 'P25A2-00', Permanent, 'ABS control module requested malfunction indicator lamp illumination'.
This was not on previously.
When i perform a device scan there is no ABS module in the list. It does initially try to scan it but then moves on to the BCM.
So I don't believe there is a real fault here, but can't clear this code and not sure why I can't see the ABS module.

I did a web search and found some information for this exact fault on the USA nhtsa web site:
https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2014/SB-10103181-9340.pdf

Our car is after the chassis number quoted.
From its description it sounds like a module might have turned an output on or off, and the way around it is to wire a permanent feed.

Has anyone else experienced this ?
Are there any techs on here that can confirm if this is likely the problem ?
Is there a uk equivalent tsb or recall for this ?

looking forward to your replies.
Many thanks,

No, not addressed it yet. its not affecting the way the car runs or drives.

I did ask one main dealer and they said the car would need to go in and be inspected. Minimum of an hours labour. I assume so they can plug it in.

All I wanted was confirmation of whather the correct fix is the tech bulletin.
what I don't want is the dealer to start swapping modules at our expense.

If I get a resolution I will post it up. If you find one can you please do likewise Wink
