My ZF8 Transmission Only when cold is slow to change up, slight hesitation 2nd to 3rd, seems to linger longer in 2nd before changing up. Once this initial change has occurred there's No other problems at all, works absolutely fine. No error lights on the dash. I've had the oil and filter pan changed, genuine LR parts, but still have the same problem.
any help / advice would be greatly appreciated.

What's the age and mileage?

A gearbox flush is well recommended for these, by around 75-80k ish, although LR say its not needed until something like 160K. Joined the X5 45e club
1994 Defender 90 300 tdi

it's 2016 and 60500. i had it done as preventative measure.

As it's only when cold it could be the cars way of warming the oil to temperature. Also these things are discussion worthy about getting off the line. If it were me I would think much about it, especially as you've done a oil change. If it was juddering etc I'd be giving it more thought. Others will respond shortly though. 2006 2.7 TDV6 HSE in Cairns Blue.

Same here, when cold, my 6HP holds the gears up to 2000 rpm. It was like this before megaflush, it's the same after megaflush. Regards etc.,
