Is that one month on top of an as yet undeterimned amount of time, or have you been given a rough ETA?

Sorry I wasn’t clear. So, ordered last September and was told 9-12 months from there (June to September). A few weeks ago had an email saying original 9-12 months stood. Enquiry overnight resulted in that going up a month for towbar

I received an update earlier to say that they're still awaiting a build date for mine, but LR are currently allocating for orders placed in May/June last year. Not sure if that's dealer specific or not.

My dealer told me allocations were based on spec not date of order. I got my hopes up as I ordered in June. Still no date for me

Humbug. Today’s update from the dealer says that LR are aiming for 12 month lead time but SE models are taking slightly longer because they have extra parts. Extra parts? They have the smallest number of parts but a lower price which means lower profits so they are going to sell higher value cars ahead of cheaper ones. Don’t know at what stage to give up and get something else

I got one of the land rover launch cars (P510e First edition), where we couldn't change the spec.

It was pretty much the exact spec we wanted other than it had no towbar so ordered that separate to be fitted prior to delivery.

Handover day was yesterday but was told last week that there is no ETA on the electrics for the towbar, but they have the mechanical bits, but we decided to take the car and have the towbar fitted when the parts arrive.

Anyway, collection day yesterday....yay!

The car is absolutely mind-blowingly stunning, we pretty much got all the way through the handover, going through the suspension settings and a warning popped up, long story short, they need to fix the car, they don't know what is causing the fault and we were totally gutted as you can imagine!!!

We didn't even get it out of the handover room & no idea when we will get the vehicle now.

You couldn't make this up Sad

What was the warning? Tim
RRS sold and replaced with a Skoda Kodiaq after appalling RR Dealer experience and LR inability to supply new cars in any sort of reasonable time frame..

No idea, I didn't even notice it myself to be honest, the wife and salesman saw it and he quickly ushered us out of the room.
It was in the workshop being diagnosed when we left, here's hoping its nothing major.

Ordered my 510 PHEV SV on May 25th, a week ago the dealer told me that the car was released from the holding pool, build date will be announced soon and delivery end of August / beginning of September. In October last year dealer told me to drop the 230V socket option as that is causing delays.

Looks like someone didn't do their PDI properly. Which, being a LR dealership, is entirely to be expected. Total shower, the lot of them. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
