Yes same, different people say different things, I was looking at getting the EGR blanked of on my Discovery, my own view is I think if you get away with it all well and good , if you get caught you are in for some trouble. |

Mine are blanked and the butterfly flap removed (but the arm left in) leaving the pipework in situ. We've had the car 7 years, so 6 MOTs and it's passed and never been picked up. Our car doesn't have a DPF, however my wife's SAAB 93 TTIDs DPF was gutted and remapped out. Again it never failed an MOT as all looked factory. It only produced smoke on full throttle which wasn't a regular occurance for us though. 2006 2.7 TDV6 HSE in Cairns Blue. |

Excellent ok cheers for the all the input. Still on the fence to doing it myself as I don’t want to pay out for a patch if I can help it. I was quoted 300£ for fitting the kit and then the patch. Imo that’s pretty dam expensive considering it take about half hour to do. |

I see your just down the road from me, have you asked Keith Gotts landrovers about this, they will pretty much tell you all you need to know about this, if you do contact them it would be interesting to hear what they said. |
