Morning is there anybody with a 2023 RRS have the Alexa app installed and working, My 2023 does not and have been informed will have to wait for the next software download to privi pro version 3, if they advertise the car with alexa should it not be delivered with it installed from the factory, any thoughts.

I'm still waiting for my RRS but my wife has recently taken delivery of a 23 Evoque with the same issue. Her dealer is taking it in to have a go at reloading the software next week.

My guess is however, that, as cars did have it for a while, (My dealer's RRS demonstrator had it) they have taken it off current factory builds perhaps because of too many bugs and are waiting for the next Pivi Pro release for a build that works. Lets hope its soon to stop my old dear moaning!

....and in latest news, the dealer software reload has been successful. ALEXA app no installed and working.

Please it is now working, got a new software over the air upgrade 3 March 2023 still no Alexa got to say pis… poor support for a £ 100000k car not happy.

We also had an OTA update last month which did nothing for Alexa but I think the problem might be that the OTA only can update the apps that were there and the Alexa app wasn't installed at the factory which is probably why it needs to go back to the dealer for a re-installation.

There are numerous reports on other forums on different LR products not having the Alexa App and my guess is that the factory have been incorrectly installing a version for UK vehicles without Alexa as it has not been approved for all territories.

A slightly amateur mistake but at least its fixable at a dealer.
