Thanks for the suggestion, both. I just don't get why it does this at random points during driving and I can't control the wingmirrors right and upwards on both sides. Reverse parking mirror setting was already turned off too it seems. 2005 2.7 tdv6 RRS Vin 6A |

Fixed! I noticed passenger seat electrics weren’t working. Also found it difficult to get key out of the ignition. All pointed to F33. Should have noticed this sooner but strange to me how the mirrors semi work even with a blown fuse.

My door mirrors have the same issue & I cannot switch off the reverse feature (or can't seem to) as the previous owner replaced the standard head unit with a touch screen one (that I hate with a passion) - not only was the job poor (original HK amp by-passed & no steering wheel controls) I seem to have lost many on-board computer features.

Following up on this thread with the weirdest solution. I noticed that the key would occasionally get stuck in when I stopped the vehicle which can be linked to transmission apparently. Then I noticed passenger seat wasn't working. Turned out a single fuse links 'transmission', 'passenger seat adjustment' and 'wing mirrors'. Strange that 1) these are all on one fuse and 2) that with a broken fuse, the mirrors didn't just die, they got a life of their own. One of the oddest things I've seen!! 2005 2.7 tdv6 RRS Vin 6A |
