Very useful indeed - thanks again Andy. First thing to do then is check what lurks in the loom behind my HEVAC panel before I end up going down a rabbit hole. |

ISTR that the original RRS had the entire loom fitted with every connector even if not actually fitted with the relevant kit. Later the cost cutting came in and looms were made to meet the ordered specification. SO you might be lucky to find the loom is there even if you need the bits of kit at each end. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Even the early one doesn't have wiring for phone, so not sure how valid that is |

I was told this by a chap that worked for the company that made the looms and worked on the RRS / Disco looms in the design and implementation stages. |

They live under the seat, if memory serves correctly. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Thanks Andy - I assume the base and backrest are wired independently ? Would just be doing the bases I think. |

Normally you need both as wired in series.

The heating elements are wired in series so you'd need both. You might be able to work around it with some trickery but I'd hate to get it wrong and end up with a burnt arse! ![]() 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |
