Burnt oil fumes when stopped

My 4.4 Diesel Sport smells of burnt oil when I stop at traffic ligths etc, engine has to be hot to notice it so suspect oil leak onto manifold/exhaust.
Anyone heard of this, is it a common issue and can anyone tell me what the issue is?

Just had same problem Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry
Mechanic renewed oil cooler gasket. Says common fault.
Had under trays off, to clean after, still getting smell tho! mechanic seems to think it will go away, after couple hundred miles!!
Even tho its been thoroughly cleaned, won't get all off at the back of engine i'me informed.
Time will tell...... Whistle Rangerover Sport 2016 4.4 sdv8 A/B loire blue.
