So, 2005 RRS S/C has started throwing suspension codes at me. Only happens on the motorway/at motorway speeds and is reasonably inconsistent but frequent.

cheers. suspected that would be the case.... looking under the arch right now and it looks like it's been replaced once before as it has the grey plastic arms (did the originals have steel or was that the L322 only?)

The arms are plastic. The fronts are specific to each corner (different part number) but the rears are either corner (same part number) if I remember correctly. No idea why. Maybe the wrong sensor was put on it. ![]() 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

I think models with active roll bars require 6 pin connectors. |

Not sure if this is relevant any more, might not even apply to cheaper pattern parts.

If the plug on the car has 6 wires, then I would expect the sensor needs 6 pins. |

There may be 6 pins on the original actual sensor, but is there actually 6 wire in the harness plug? as L/R along with various parts suppliers are saying the superseded updated part which is now 3 pin, is updated and completely backwards compatible with the previous 6 pin unit. Perhaps Disco Mikey could enlighten us on the subject as sure he would have replaced them numerous times over the years.
