Part fell off in boot

This part was laying in the boot this morning. I’ve scoured the back and can’t find where it is supposed to go. Does anyone have an idea?

2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Lux Fuji White

Wherever it goes it looks broken (tab appears to be broken off). Looks like a little cover of sorts, maybe on the inside of the tailgate? We tend to look in front of us and not at what’s over our heads.

Nailed it, it’s a trim piece on the tailgate. One on each side, part number LR039102. 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory
Born and raised in So Cal. Moved to the UK in 2018 for a few years. Now in Poland and looking at moving back to the UK.
