Water drip under car

Hi gents,

I hope anybody could help me with this mystery on my 2016 TDV L494:

It was raining a lot here, but after driving the car after a few days of no rain and not washing the car, I found a liquid drip underneath the middle of the car.
When I got under the car to investigate, I noticed that the black noise absorption mat, situated around the shaft was completely soaked.
The liquid was not greasy, is clear and smell-less, so I think it´s water.

What can this be?
Are there running any lines underneath the car, with liquid that fits my description, that can leak?
Can it be the aircon drain pipe or the sunroof drain pipe? But why does it wet all the black noise absorption mat? Pipe too short or broken off? What are the locations of these drain pipes?

I found already that it can´t be the washer liquid since these lines run through underneath the roof.

Thank you so much in advance.

My car discharges water all the time from the airconditioning evaporator drain hose.

Hi Meiang,

Yes in this climate the AC is on all the time.
Like all cars I’ve driven, the water is then dumped underneath the car.
However why is it wetting the black cloth mat which then stays soaking wet for days? I can imagine this will cause corrosion in the long run.
The dripping is coming from the middle of the car behind the transfer box.

For further trouble shooting: What is the precise location of the AC drain?

Any thoughts? SW
