Slight whine noise

Hi all
Got slight whine how can I check if coming from transfer box or diff
Sound seems to be from front passenger side can be heard when lightly accelerating or letting of power if dropped into neutral no noise at all
It’s a 2014 Range Rover sport
Any help
Thanks

Is it coming in at a certain speed? If so and you cruising at 20klm (low range) and you hear the whine slip it in neutral (if safe to do so) that should take the strain off the diffs if you have a noise it will be in the t-case.

Hi
When in normal driving mode whine there very slight Whine at low speeds say 30mph if I drop into neutral whine disappears is this diff or transfer box
Or do I need to put into low range drive see if whine drop into neutral and roll if noise still present it’s transfer case

Hi James

I have exactly the same issue with my 2015 RRS, 97k.
Did you find out what the problem was in the end?
