I have the same problem. I see nobody replied. Can’t find much on this subject anywhere so must be a rare problem or no fix unfortunately that none can explain a fix? |

A flickering LED is an indication of the diode going bust. There is no fixing to light-emitting diodes, you replace them. It is possible to open the assembly and replace a single unit, but it takes a skilled solderer and careful choice of the replacement element. Regards etc.,

My tachometer needle sometimes flickers on startup which only lasts for a minute or two. Its being doing this for a few years now. As it does not last very long I can live with it, rather than have my instrument cluster pulled apart with the squeaks and rattles which would result. |
