Headlight removal very awkward... Grrrr

Hi all, trying to remove my headlight is proving troublesome for even though I've lined up the pins and got it slightly out it seems to be catching somewhere at the bottom and the side of the actual wing lip. Is there something I can do to make it easier. Bit of fettling or similar?

Usually once you oiled the sliders they are fine to get out.

Maybe the slider isn’t quite in the right position

They are greased and easy to unclip already. It's once that's done that I have the issue of it catching the lower body of the headlight on the bumper area and the outer edge of the lense sits just behind the wing lip so requiring a bit of jiggling too.
All vids I've watched of others doing the removal and it's just straight out pull. Can't understand it.

Yeah I do have to lift mine up a little and angle it out.

I'm had much worse on other cars though

Mines like that, usually stick a bit of tape on bumper to protect it as have to wiggle them out as well.

Cheers
