Hi,

I've recently got this problem and I've eliminated the exterior A pillar trim, the air intake under the scuttle panel and sunroof (not fitted) as possible causes.

When I took off the passenger interior A pillar trim I quite surprisingly found a drain tube behind it.

Does anyone know if the roof channels have a drain or whether they just fitted the tubes to all cars regardless of whether there was a sunroof fitted.

If the drain is active I'm assuming it drains behind the front wheel arch trim and might be blocked??

Was hoping for some insight before I try and tackle it again in the morning.

have a look at the "sunroof drain tube" thread, is the tube the same? only other things i've heard of are, ac drain hose& windscreen.

The tube looks identical to the sun roof drains.

I'm just not sure why they would fit them to a car with no sun roof.
