Does anyone have the spec for this downgraded Meridien system please.

My dealer didn't even mention it till I asked and then talked about a rumour of a £500 discount! It's an £108k car, how arrogant is it that they think they can downgrade it without asking, or seeing if I want to cancel...

New p440e AB at dealership today, had just come off the transporter and no 3d Meridian just the standard system.

My new RRS has the standard system fitted, its has the surround sound facility, I had the upgraded system in a D5 and despite also being an audiophile have to admit there was not an appreciable difference, the new RRS system has been upgraded, compared to the earlier system, if you want to listen to a joke then an earlier RRS with the bog standard none Meridian Lol.

JLR are really treating AB customers badly as a £500 difference is not compensation, has anyone checked the price difference to the Meridian upgrade to an SE ??

Agree, as said before I’m a bit of an audiophile and I find the standard system more than adequate for a car.

My first edition has been built this morning! dealer confirmed it has the meridian non surround system. Mixed emotions but i suppose the biggest plus is the car is coming.

Anyone want my 2021 AB D300?

My FE goes to build next week and I have asked for a demo of the standard meridian before I accept the car.

Am I right in assuming that there is a lower spec sound system than the one fitted to my SE RRS ?
If not then all RRS systems have the meridian surround sound facility

Agreed, whilst the worldwide issues are unavoidable, the way this has been addressed with customers is a disgrace.

From what I can gather it is the standard 400w system. My wife has, what is on paper at least, the same system in her F pace Jaguar. Its perfectly acceptable, but certainly not what you would or should expect in a £100k+ Range Rover IMHO.

I have been speaking to local audio companies about a discreet upgrade for when mine arrives (if I don't cancel). This can be done discreetly, but I do worry that any mods will be highlighted as the reason for any electrical gremlins that may crop up with the car.
It does seem completely ridiculous to be messing about with the sound system on a brand new Autobiography Range rover!!

Parks land rover in Inverness. Was going straight out to a customer. They do have a diesel autobiography on the demo fleet.

My car is arriving at the dealer this morning. I plan to go up to speak about the sound system and try one out. Apart from the mis aligned fuel cap and the stereo, is there anything else i should be checking for? Ill try the doors on mine to make sure they soft close, and I’ll check under the bonnet in case they have put a D200 in there due to supply issues?

Does this downgrade mean we don't get the noise canceling features or the speakers in the headrest?

We had a call from the dealer explaining the downgrade and offered £500, but I would sooner have the spec we ordered

Are you sure that we would ever have got the noise cancelling features and speakers in the headrests on the Meridian 3-D? I thought that was only with the signature sound system
