L320 suspension riddle, solved?

The millionth posting regarding RRS air suspension issues.

Background: 2012 RRS 139k miles, all four air shocks replaced two years ago with Arnotts, front and rear valve blocks also. Didn’t touch compressor or middle valve block.

Symptoms: last week passenger side rear started sagging overnight, only drive once or twice a week sadly - each time fired up it levels off.

Diagnostic efforts: pulled the fuse (20 amp right side third up from the larger bottom fuses) if you’ve experienced this you know which one

Outcome: no suspension droop 3 days later

Interpretation: Hmmm, don’t have a leak so it must be electrical? I’m guessing ride height sensors, can anyone corroborate

Thank you Vincit qui se vincit

Did you get this sorted out , was it the ride height sensors?

Interestingly, it hasn’t suffered any suspension droop since performing this diagnostic test and replacing the (same) fuse.
I have purchased ride height sensors just in case. On a side note, there is a local nurse from Hobart here on the Florida gulf coast always raving about the beauty of her/your island. One day mate. Vincit qui se vincit

That's good news that you have a fix and as you said you have a back up (height sensors) Cool

Yes we have a Hobart (Capital City) in Tassie and some call it God's country.....often wonder why everyone wants to live here.

Update: just completed 1000 mile trip with no ride height issues at all. Flawless performance, approximately 22 mpg city /highway, with 3 adults and a full load. However, brake pad sensor amber dash light popped up one hour from home, so that’s my next project. Almost flawless! Vincit qui se vincit

They can’t let you slide by with no issues. What you do is find one small issue you can easily deal with, and leave it. That way it has its issue to nurture and foster and it’s not something that bothers you. Maybe the oil cap the wrong way around? Although that’s on my major OCD list, it doesn’t seem to bother too many others out there. 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory
