Congrats on the new car - It's good to hear that initial impressions are positive.

I wonder what's going on with the fuel filler caps on these - the one I took a test drive in last week was the same, and there have been other reports too.

Love your car and naturally very jealous.
With regard to your filler cap problem and any other trim problems — surely these should have been seen and picked up by your dealership at the point of pre inspection and more important rectified before you take delivery.
Yes production may have caused the problem but as always the dealership are responsible to you as the customer.
Please don’t let it spoil your enjoyment of your new purchase.

Don’t worry, I didn’t sign to say I was was happy with it, I will send details tomorrow, the sale guy basically said they were all the same. The charging side was the worse.

It certainly hasn’t tainted my experience to date. The car is something rather special, and to be honest 90% of people wouldn’t even notice.

Interestingly, I just noticed my filler caps this week are also not flush, the petrol one is worse than the charger on mine.

Not overly noticeable, but there is a discrepency.

Blimey your dealer pushed that through a bit quick from delivery from JLR to your collection no wonder things have be missed at final PDI
Must say both fuel flaps fit flush and central to the hole on mine no issues at all
