Tow Bar Electrics 62 Plate 3.0 SDV6

Hi all.
Newbie here looking for a bit of advice. I bought my RRS 14 months ago and never checked to see if it had tow bar electrics (the tow ball was in the boot so I assumed....yeah, yeah I know ASS) Anyway, I've just bought a trailer to carry our kayak. Went to hook up today only to find no electrics fitted! Can I get plug n play electrics? They've got to be simple because I'm colour blind (as well as an ASS!)
Thanks in advance.
Dave

Normally the towing electrics are already wired into the cars loom and if you get the LR prewired kit it usually just plugs in, from memory the wiring harness for them are in the lefthand side of the boot behind the side panel. It will need enabling in the CCF files as it needs to be told if it has twin sockets or the 13 pin socket fitted.

Hope this helps.

Hi.
Thanks for the response, much appreciated. I bought it from an indy dealer but one with an excellent reputation (it my second from him) I'll ask him to fit it if I buy it. He can do the IT stuff too Smile
Regards
Dave
