Odd LED front turn signal issue L320

Had to get a vehicle inspection done last week, first place I went to it failed due to both of my LED bulb front turn signals stopped working with the hazards on. I shut off the car after leaving and restarted, they worked fine. Got home and switched on the hazards and about five minutes in they again stopped working. I’ve never sat with the hazards or a turn signal on that long so didn’t notice the issue before now. Swapped back to the stock bulbs, passed inspection at another place, but am really reluctant to put the LED bulbs back in. I’m curious if anyone else has tried LED bulbs in the front turn signals and what’s been their experience. I’m between two different causes; they over heated and shut off or the ECU didn’t have enough of a load and shut them off. I’ve experienced the latter with LED’s in the front door puddle lights which needed load resistors to work correctly. However, I’m leaning towards over heating with the front signal bulbs since they were still pretty hot when I removed them.

Can anybody recommend some good LED PY24W bulbs? 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory

I tried some LED front indicators bulbs a few years ago. They seemed to work fine but after I turned the indicators off they continued to glow vey dimly. So I took them out and went back to the original bulbs.

I’ve just purchased Bosch LED side lights yesterday, after I noticed a Halogen one has gone. I’m normally Mr standard and this is a massive modification for me. 2006 2.7 TDV6 HSE in Cairns Blue.

The PY24W is an odd bulb, so not a lot of aftermarket LED love other than odd brands. I have Osram LED bulbs in the taillights and interior without any issues, but they don’t offer the PY24W.

I’ll hook one of the LED bulbs up direct to a battery and see if it shuts down after a little bit due to heat. 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory
