Thought I’d add some experience on discs and pads as I couldn’t find a great deal of info when looking into it, other than this old thread.

I had been using Brembo aftermarket discs and pads from GSF/Eurocarparts but always a bit disappointed with their performance.

Recently replaced the front discs as before (the Brembo high carbon discs part A773.11), and changed pads to EBC ED Plus Extra Duty pads ED92064. Pads have a bedding in material that’s noisy for the first few miles and then they are as quiet as any other pad. Definitely have a bit more initial bite and feel, and seem to have more stopping power too. My wife also noticed the difference (it’s her car) so it’s definitely a notable improvement. A few hundred miles in and bedding in procedure followed, still quiet and even more stopping power. Overall very impressed. Pads were £200 with a discount. Will change the rears to the same spec when they need doing.

Above fitted to 2015 Autobiography with the factory red 6 pot Brembo calipers.

Hope that helps anyone still looking at options!

New Zealand 2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Autobiography Santorini Black

Interesting that, those pads were not available in the UK when I wanted a set for my old S/C, as previously they were not type approved for use in the EU something to do with the way the lining materials was attached to the backing plate didn't conform, had to ship a set in from the States down here. I imagine they must have changed the design now, but it was about 4 years ago I bought them.

Cheers

Looks like there was an update to the design at some stage as they are R90 (the ECE / European regs) approved. EBC make a point of saying they have hooks on the back plate, so if imagine they didn’t previously.
