One of the last registered, 29th july 2013, someone must have got one hell of a bargain when they bought it new, few days before the new reg, and being an L494 RRS SDV6 HSE Black Edition +

Not sure what you mean by it "being a 494". 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

If you are referring to your picture that is the L320 "run out" model, or are you referring to the replacement model for the L320?

I think he means that on the 1st August L484's would have been registered.

However the Black Edition was the last model and there was a gap between that and the first shipments of the L494.

A bit like the current situation where we are between models.

Perhaps the OP could clarify what he means, although can't see it clearly the reg no. looks to be a 62 plate unless of couse it has had a different plate fitted, if it was a July reg. date would it not be on a 13 plate, as 62 was prior to Feb 28/29 2013.

Have just looked at the reg plate on DVLA and it is attached to an RRS registered 19th July 2013 so it would be one of the last registered L320's. There is no replacement for displacement - W O Bentley

My L494 was registered on 6th September 2013 so must be one of the first off the line. RRS HSE Dynamic SDV6 2014

New registrations are issued from the 1st of March and 1st September not the 1st of August unless they have changed it, look's like the Dealer allocated a registration number to the vehicle several months prior to it being actually registered. I would hazard a guess it remained unsold and someone got a bargain, as by then most people wanted the new model and the dealer gave a good discount being the old model to sell it. The actual build Month/Year of the vehicle will be on the front slam panel under the bonnet.
