My LH inlet manifold cracked in the usual spot as many others. One minute all is well, next I have the Restricted Performance warning. No biggie, figured it happen sooner or later. Shopping around for a new inlet manifold I see genuine for at least £230. Britpart and Bearmach are about half that with a reported higher failure rate. Here’s where it gets interesting, the. TDV6/SDV6 is used across a few different brands including Citroen and Peugeot. The same genuine PSA inlet manifold is £140. So I’m going to order one of these and save myself some cash on a genuine FoMoCo/PSA part. I have another LH inlet manifold with a crack on it at work, I’ll compare the two closely prior to installing it. 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory

Still waiting for it to arrive. Hopefully this week. Looking at pics they are the exact same part and have the FoMoCo branding on them. As soon as I have it in my hands I’ll get pics. 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory

Just received it today, almost exact same part, only difference is it’s the 7th revision of the part and made 14/12/2020. The PSA part number is 0248 S2.

If you have a 3.0 TDV6/SDV6 and find oil on the top of the engine spanning front to back of the valley, might be the intake elbow. Mine has a split at the seam on the bottom and has been misting oil into the valley. This part can be removed with only removing the engine cover. It’s a snug fit, but it will come out. I plan to get mine plastic welded all around the seam for now.
