Our black SUV is parked right next to my white RRS. Both have black leather interior and tinted windows. The RRS has a sunroof, the other SUV does not. My RRS is noticeably cooler inside. As in I can jump into the RRS and go. The other SUV we open the doors and windows for a couple minutes before jumping in. So I have to kindly disagree about exterior paint color not making a difference.

As for no BMS in the 3.6 TDV8, fair enough. Then it seems it’s a 2010+ thing since I have the same issue at idle on my 3.0 TDV6. 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory

Just wanted to throw a quick tidbit, a couple weeks ago while doing other work on the car I swapped out my viscous fan (can’t say it was bad, just didn’t seem good). I plopped in a known good one from the shop spares and my A/C is now colder at idle and low speeds.
