usually its the wiring to the door (where it hinges)

Andy K, thanks for the tip. Bought a new (ebay cheap deal) switch but it didn't work. Eventually tried pushing/pulling the buttons and got 3 windows working on the original switch, n/s rear not. Removed the door card, disconnected its individual switch, re-plugged it and the window then worked. 2 days later, all windows are still working. Don't know if there's an ECU for the windows but - with all windows closed - pulling up all 4 buttons on the master switch might have been the answer. Hope you don't need it but this might be worth a try if you get into the same situation. |
