United Kingdom
independant dealer

Hi all,
Basically after some advice.
I am looking for recommendations for an independent RR garage who could carry out cambelt.waterpump change and MOT.
I have bought all genuine parts needed ,from range rover dealership and have receipts.
My usual garage have said they wont do it because they cant guarantee my parts !!!
But they have been ok servicing the car for the last 3 years , with the castrol oil I have supplied them !
So I am stuck .
I appreciate the time involved to do the job and therefore the cost, but I wanted to use genuine parts not "equivalent" as a garage puts it .
i am in Kent ,but dont mind travelling a bit

many thanks
Steve

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Java Black

Hi Davo

I'm in Kent and i have used 2 independant garages that have been recommended to me, one in Kent and one quite a way from here in Alton
1st is Ansells Service Centre in Lydd, 2 guys there are ex JLR techs and do an excellent job with a fair price, very friendly
2nd is AJ Landrover in Alton, again the guy who runs it is former JLR and knows his stuff, but he has an excellent reputation and can be hard to get booked in with him

Good luck

Edit: forgot to say, both have fitted the parts i have brought to them without question 2015 L494 SDV6 3.0 HSE Loire Blue

After D.r Rob recommended Glenrands to me, I also only use them now.
They are in Liphook, Hampshire.
They only work on Land Rovers and I've been really happy with everything they've done on my 2 cars. 2016 RRS SVR Estoril Blue
2005 4.2L Supercharged Java Black - gone but was my first love.

If we all point our RR's in the same direction and accelerate at the same time can we turn back time?
