Starting issues

I have had recently had starting issue on my RRS 2006 TDV6. I come to start it and it will not fire, it turns over and cranks no problem but will not fire. I have to sit with the ignition in position 2 for a few minutes and after this has passed an audible continuous clicking noise for roughly 10 seconds is heard from what i think is lower right of the engine. Once this noise is heard the car starts no problem. I have recently changed the glow plugs and in the process of changing the battery as that is now no good.
There is plenty of fuel pressure, I'm suspecting the starter motor solenoid but that doesn't make sense as the starter motor turns the engine over without problem.

I am no left scratching my head as not sure which relay/solonoid it could be if it is that.

Has any one had any experience of this? Thumbs Up
TIA

Passenger side or drivers side ?

I'd love to see a video to youtube. May help provoke thought

The noise comes from passenger side of the vehicle.
I will try my best to get a video of the noise.
