Just changed the oil and filter on my 2017 sdv6.I was unable to suck the oil out so removed the plug underneath the car to allow the oil to drain out.Having replaced the oil when I look at the dash for the oil level it states" Unable to indicate oil level".
Does it need to be reset or do I just leave it to filter through ?

With the bonnet open (or unlocked at least), switch the car on (NO brake pedal), go to the oil menu the press the cruise cancel button on the steering wheel twice. - it should give you the oil level instantly.
