2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 S Java Black
potentially a electrical issue?

Hi all,

Im new here and needed some advice regarding my L320 .

I have a range rover sport 2.7tdv6 2008 UK spec right hand drive . with 195k on the clock.

in my ownership ive replaced the cambelt, Major engine service, new fuel tank cover, new water in fuel tank sensor and fuel filter housing. I have replaced the sump pan filter and gearbox oil .The work has been done at home but I am pretty handy with my spanners and not shy of doing work. I haven't had the car that long but it was a one owner from new with 3 service files full of receipts .

i have rarely driven the car and decided to drive it over the last couple of days but it has developed " fluctuating revs between 10-30 mile an hour.

This morning I started the car and pulled of when the gearbox was cold to see if it reacted any differently and it did it was almost behaving " normal"

I plugged in my obd code reader and it displayed the following issues;

U0155- Lost control module instrument cluster - issue category - electrics
XP0191- Generic communication fault code- issue fuel exhaust , cooling
XP0326- Generic communication fault code- issue engine
XP0331- Generic communication fault code- issue engine.
U1A03- Vehicle configuration parameter
U0300- Interal control module - software incompatibility
UX3FF0 - Generic communication fault code

it hasnt displayed " F " on the transmission and hasnt showed any transmission fault codes on the dash.

The car has a bad battery. its died a few times .

Before I parked the car up for the last few weeks, I fitted a PFJONES plug and play tow bar wiring harness

I would appricate any thoughts or comments or suggesting anything that i may have missed!.

England 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Rimini Red

I would say the gearbox torque convertor
Common problem with revs moving as you drive at a constant speed, with these and BMW

Also known as cattle grid effect

You can add Dr. Tranny to the oil to help for a few years
