How did you manage that? The D350 starts at £98k 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

I look at it and I see a D350 RRS at £98k or a D300 FFRR for £99k. And I wonder which would I buy if I had the money. And the answer is the Full Fat. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

I guess they want to keep some spec differences between the top end and the rest. To be honest, it's often said that the locking rear diff is a "nice to have" item. Neither of mine have had it and I've never got stuck yet - nearly, but not quite. Low range, on the other hand, is an essential for me in any vehicle that claims to be off road capable. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

Interesting: on the ZA website, you can spec a 'Stormer Handling Pack' on any model, even the base one.

I've just 'built' a P440e SE and can get nice well equipped car for £87,680.00 or a P400 Se Dynamic for £92,120.00. Quite a price increase over my present P400 which was around £72k 2 1/2 years ago.

Maybe the new design will grow on me with time but I actually prefer the look of the L494. Out of the new FFRR and new RRS I think they’ve done a much better job with the FFRR. |

I also much prefer the front lower bumper on the lower-spec models, the one of the Dynamic & above looks to be too much of a a scoop when off-roading

I read somewhere that the Yanks get 4-wheel steer on all of their vehicles. Quite why you need it in the US is beyond me - even in town/city their roads are wide and there's plenty of room. In rural areas, the roads are basically straight. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
