Do i just need the LR024073 part? Ive found one at a garage that has come off a 3.0. Is this just a straight swap? |

If this completely drains of fluid, what is the risk? Reason i ask is its leaking now, but i need to drive it to to pick up the part and then drive it to a garage. Is it safe? |

I'd fit a new OEM bar. £600 plus fitting. At least then you know you're starting with a good item rather than an unknown second hand one.

Thanks mate. Understand the pump will run dry, but is it still safe to drive? |

It'll be rolling around in the corners but if you go gently you should be ok I'd have thought. If the car figures it's unsafe, it'll throw up a red warning light.

It's on the left hand side of the engine bay, near the front, and it's got a yellow cap on it. The other yellow cap - over by the coolant header tank - is the power steering reservoir. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Just checked there, and its well below the min level (about 1cm). Can you get any ACE fluid?

We always replace the pipes when doing a rear bar. We're about £900 less than your quote though. Maybe ask for an itemised estimate |

I'm hearing good things about Lucas Stop Leak Fluid also. Have you heard anything on that as a quick fix? |

He said he can do the change for £600 if i supply the Bar. Second hand Bar is around the £200 mark. So looking at £800 now. |
