Hi all any pros and cons for tonting the front side windows to match the factory rear windows ?

Windshield must have over 75% light transmission. Front side windows must have at least 30% VLT. All windows behind driver can have any tint darkness.

Fairly sure that's how they come from the factory, you can check on the glass to see what is fitted. 2023 P440e SE Dynamic on order -cancelled

I think you're asking for trouble.

I have a friend who legally tinted his drivers and passenger side windows but constantly got pulled by the police who would argue it was less than 30% light.

The only way to prove it is with a light meter that most of the traffic cops will carry, but not the normal cops.

My friend was always proved right but it ended up being too much hassle getting stopped all the time as the police don't know until they stop you and check! So he removed the tints. 2016 RRS SVR Estoril Blue
