replace engine cover foam?

Hi,

has anyone replaced the foam thats under the plastic engine cover (2.7) Question

the foam is breaking up every time you move it, can not find it as a replacement part and the Dynamat type products all seem to be stuck to the underside of the bonnet

or do you just bin it Question Laughing

I just binned mine. I can’t say I noticed a difference in the noise volume once removed. 2006 2.7 TDV6 HSE in Cairns Blue.
