Hi,

has anyone replaced the foam thats under the plastic engine cover (2.7)

the foam is breaking up every time you move it, can not find it as a replacement part and the Dynamat type products all seem to be stuck to the underside of the bonnet

or do you just bin it

I just binned mine. I can’t say I noticed a difference in the noise volume once removed. 2006 2.7 TDV6 HSE in Cairns Blue.

I used this gear on my old D3 engine cover.........
