help and advice needed

Hi All , Desperately need some help here, Range rover sport tdv6 2.7 i inherited it partly stripped due to cam chain failure
on right bank. Replacement pair of heads purchased fully tested and valves seated fitted with new gaskets etc. all put back together with lots of blood sweat tears and bad language as all being done with engine in car, turns over well but will not fire up even with easy start , no air in lp fuel and good flow but don't seem to be getting any hp fuel, Any suggestions welcome OR any mobile mechanics who know these things near evesham worcestershire?? before it gets a gallon of petrol and a match spent the full weekend on it and getting nowhere , HELP HELP HELP
PS while stripped i also replaced cams with supposedly good second hand ones and a new HP fuel pump due to
historic cold starting issues despite new glow plugs being fitted

Check cam sensor plugged in on passenger side head at front
On the side.

They are difficult to get going after they been apart, so don’t give up

No. Unless there is a fault code.

A white autel ap200 fault code reader is value for money if you wanted to check for codes. Less than £50 direct.

Maybe loosen one metal pipe to an injector to see f fuel is present. Warning. Pressure is dangerously high on these.

Otherwise consider using known good old hpfp ? There are 2 types of these. Depending on car year.

At the metal pipes ?

Check elec connectors to the hpfp
Check belt still on
Probably worth reading and clearing fault codes

no fault codes at all with specialist rr reader. But another question as i said i bought replacement cams but am now
wondering could they have supplied wrong cams ie could the cam from the left bank be swapped with the right bank ?
i don't think it can because of the threaded end for hp pump drive but grasping at straws now. crank sensor swapped all electrical connections checked all seems good but still no hp fuel supply
