Thanks Barrie. That was really helpful. Do you know if it's that easy to get to the mechanical motor part (that they showed was worn in that video) on a 2011 RRS please? |

Sorry Nick. I don't know. I recall this from when a mate had the same problem. I can do some things myself but relatively speaking I do not have the expertise and knowledge of some people here. Barrie.

If it’s has slipped off once, it’s probably going to slip off again.

I take it you have checked that the linkage is broken and not something simple like the arm slipping on the shaft spindle due to loose retaining nut or worn taper in the arm, only a thought and costs nothing to check. I would think twice about buying genuine L/R parts if it can be avoided as you are looking at nearly 300 euros for the motor and 200 for the linkage, does not come as a complete assembly. If it's any help to locate the parts the L/R part numbers are Motor LR075581 and Linkage LR038348 assuming the car is L/H/D

If new parts you would only want linkage |

I’ll plus one the wiper arms being a pig to get off. You can get a wiper arm puller from Amazon for little cash. Once off, the scuttle panel is quite easy to get off which will allow you access. You don’t need a motor, just the linkage.

Update: Linkage was the problem, apparently, and a new one has been ordered (eventually!). Luckily it doesn't rain often in Spain
