2013 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 Baltic Blue

If you only want 1 car....Personally, i'd keep the SVR you have arriving, and then order a new SVR when that's announced in about 6-9 months time, with a further 6-9 month wait for deliveries. Worst case, when you see the new RRS on the 10th May public launch, you can always change your mind.

As for the FFRR, I think the new sport is the better car, but i prefer to drive rather than waft....so that's a personal decision.

This week, i was told categorically that the deliveries for the new sport would be September 2022....but that's for people ordering at the VIP events, so i suspect an order by the general public after the May launch, will be looking at 12 months for delivery.

Hope that helps. But i certainly wouldn't be replacing an L494 SVR with a new, "normal" sport....

Reading this I have no idea what to do now..

I have an SVR coming at the end of this month. Plus I have an order in the for new Range Rover that is going to take about 12 months.

I know I will place an order for the New RRS once I see it..

do I take delivery of the SVR? or keep my current M4

do u cancel my RR order?

how far do you guys think we are away from release date? and what is a realistic delivery time frame for customers to get the new Sport.

so much activity going on im not shure what to do for the best.. I deffo only want one car at a time haha

OK so just got back! Need to be careful what I say as signed an NDA valid until 10th May which is the date the car goes public at 7pm!

Blown away. They have done an absolutely amazing job with the new design language. Yes as expected there are Velar / Defender/ Full Fat RR elements to it however it’s the “Sport” and lives up to the name with the design language IMHO.

Interior fit and finish on the First Edition and Autobiography were Bentley-isque! They have really upped the game on the materials. Pricing as expected has gone up quite a bit I cant say how much but its a pretty big jump from the current gen car.

New tech is amazing.
Not many new colours so that was a tad disappointing as would have thought they would have gone all out on the colours for the sport as on something like a G63 AMG you can nos get many different colours.

Good selection of engine sizes in all derivatives but no SVR for at least 18 months.

VIP deliveries (i.e for those that placed orders today) start in September 22!

Cant wait…lovely lovely car. Smile

It's impressive isn't it.

I went with the 4.4l First edition with quite a few options and the green...but i suspect that will change. What about you?
Agree about the colours though....and really disappointed about the Red! Big Cry Now

I was also told at today's VIP event that deliveries would start in Sept which surprised and pleased me. I have to be careful what I say because like everybody else I signed a NDA but I think L-R have done a great job with the new RRS and have certainly addressed my criticisms of the existing model. Yup the colour choice is a bit disappointing - any colour you like so long as its a bit grey and oddly the HSE model seems to have been ditched leaving only the SE and Autobiography but I guess the HSE and other models will come along later. And yes prices have gone up substantially mirroring the prices rises for the new FFRR; it will be interesting to see whether prices in other markets like the USA have similarly increased

I agree Naks - not a patch on the existing 5.0 V8, I guess mainly due to turbo rather than supercharger.

However this does look quite fun!

Maybe the RRS version will have a different exhaust design giving a different / more noise? The Full Fat is supposed to be the refined one, after all. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I'm sure the new RRS exhaust system will be tuned differently, I don't anticipate it will hold a candle to the current SCV8 noise. 2020 SVR / R.I.P. 2019 SVR / 2016 D4 Landmark / 2005 D3 HSE

I wasn't as keen on it to be honest I actually prefer the larger RR design language it works better.

It's still a (needed) step forward and as RRSman says the pricing is definitely a big step forward.

Either way it will sell loads as it has no direct competitors now they've moved it up a notch.

We will have to see if their quality control lives up to the continued JLR promises they give with new models.

I didn't order one although when an SVR is annouced I might revist it as I have a guaranteed % off my next JLR order so will see what its like when it's revealed, but the jury is still out for me tbh. Non JLR Vehicle

That's a different back end to the one i saw at the JLR launch, so i suspect its a fake.

Different exhaust, lower bumper etc. Rear lights look ok....but rest is off. Now

All I would say is be careful reading too much into JLR’s timescales. They made similar promises at the L460 launch around when to expect cars and they just haven’t delivered.
