Corroded hydraulic lines.

Hi,
I have really badly corroded lines that carry fluid to the anti roll bars. Firstly, is this anti roll bar supply and return there only purpose? They look like they could burst anytime unfortunately which is a concern. Question is please, is this a body split job to replace them or is there any alternative? Also, any idea of cost please? Photo shows the worst area but they’re bad all the way to the rear. Thanks, J.

Not full body off, but the back and front both have to be separated to replace the respective pipes Thumbs Up

Gosh, that was a quick reply. Thanks. It’s going in for air suspension fault finding soon so I’ll get a quote then. But not good hey!

Even worse that the pipes are on back order too...

Hope they don't rupture any time soon Big Cry

Never looked into it but often wondered if some one like Pirtek could make up flexible pipes to replace them with or at least part off, I guess the problem might be finding a fitting to actually fit them into the valve block though.

Cheers

When the pipes are in that condition though, it's difficult to join into...

I was warned supply was low. We do quite a few sets of these for our own customers and other local garages, so we have a few sets in stock

Yes, I was wondering the same about someone like Pirtek making a flexible version of the lines possibly then avoiding the body split. I don’t know enough about it but possibly cutting out the old rigid lines in pieces then routing flexi ones to replace. Or is it gaining access to connecting the lines to the pump and the roll bars? I’ll look into that too. Thanks guys..
