Memory Seats and Keys

2017 RRS Autobiography - can anyone help me with how to code the keys to the seat memory please? I've searched the manual and can't find anywhere how to do it.

Thanks

Really? Every car I've ever had with memory seats has been able to assign a memory to a key - even my Disco 4 did it!

Don't you just set the seat memory with the key in the vehicle? That's how it works with the L320. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

So out of curiosity how do you actually programme the different keys to the seat memory position in the L320? as thought they did away with that facility on the facelift variant when they brought in passive locking/keyless start etc. thought it was just the buttons on the door you programmed, as don't recall seeing anything in the handbook how to do it.

Cheers

It was certainly a feature of my 08 TDV8 because it caught me out when I used the spare key for a while to charge the battery in it (another great feature that keyless did away with).

Thinking about my 12 SDV6, I guess it wouldn't do it as it's keyless and you can start it with two keys inside so it wouldn't know which key is being used.

Hmmm, maybe the feature is just no longer available with keyless systems. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

I think the used to call it "Lazy Entry" on the earlier sports, think my old P38 had it as well if I remember right.

Cheers
